Details

Born in Nantes, France, Mary Bridget became a Catholic nun on 21 November 1911 and arrived in the BSIP the following February, appointed to the Catholic Mission headquarters at Rua Sura. In 1914, she was transferred to Makira to found a girl's school at Wainoni Bay. In 1951, she was appointed to Tanagai where she worked until 1961. Except for a few voyages to Sydney for health reasons, Sister Mary Bridget never left the Protectorate. (NS Nov. 1961)
