Place: Bellona Island
Bellona Island is a Polynesian outlier island about 164 kilometres south of Guadalcanal. Its local name is Mu Ngiki. Together with Rennell (Mu Nggava), its people have a distinctive culture. (Monberg 1991) See also Rennell and Bellona Islands.
