Concept: Gaming and Lotteries Ordinance, 1961

Details

The Gaming and Lotteries Ordinance 1961 established rules for gambling, which was restricted to those over eighteen years of age, unless a parent or guardian was present and gave permission. No person could pay to join a gambling game, the chances of winning had to be the same for all, and all money paid into a game had to be returned to the winners. (NS Sept. 1961)
