Details

Three-year training courses for Medical Assistants began at Central Hospital in Honiara in 1952. Twelve had graduated by January 1958 and were posted to district hospitals and sub-district clinics. The graduands on 16 December 1958 were G. Fasiboroa, J. Sisielo, J. Pitakaka, D. Daumae, C. Rihumana and L. Koleteve. (NS Jan. 1958, Dec. 1958)
